WHAT WE BELIEVE
Scripture
We believe in the inerrancy of Scripture; that all Scripture is given by inspiration of God; and that the Bible is the only authority in the governing and exercising of our life’s faith and practice as a Church and individual Christians respectively.
God
We believe that there is but one God. We believe that He is the Maker, the Keeper, and the Ruler of all things. We believe that He is a perfect God and to him all people owe their highest love and obedience.
Trinity
We believe that the One God has revealed Himself to us as the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Each person of the trinity has a distinct personality; is of equal nature and exists in eternal union with the others with no division of purpose.
Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is the divine Son of God. We believe that He was born of a virgin; lived a life free of sin; died on the cross for the sins of the world; arose from the dead on the third day; and ascended into heaven to intercede for us. We believe that Jesus Christ existed on earth as fully divine and fully human.
The Holy Spirit
We believe that He is God invisible, Holy, All- Powerful, All-Present and All-Knowing. He convicts of sin; implants the righteousness of Jesus Christ in the life of a believer by His divine presence; guides a believer to obedient mature growth and imparts to believers and congregations of believers, spiritual gifts for the honour of the Lord Jesus and the growth of His Kingdom. We believe that the Holy Spirit is the person of the Godhead and He manifests the fruit of the Spirit to believers who walk in him.
salvation
We believe that salvation is God’s mighty work in redemption through Jesus Christ, whereby He graciously puts right with Himself any person who through the fall and personal sinful acts is alienated, turns in repentance, confession and trust in Jesus.
